END GENOCIDE OF CHRISTIANS AND INDIGENES OF PLATEAU STATE, NIGERIA.

June 27, 2018 0

END GENOCIDE OF CHRISTIAN'S AND INDIGENES OF PLATEAU STATE, NIGERIA.

John Apollos Maton Esq. DRS. ChMC.

Plateau State, Nigeria is home to over 20 beautiful different indigenous tribes and cultures, non of these tribes being hausa or fulani. These beautiful and peace-loving people have since before colonialism suffered and persevered persecution and countless ethnic cleansing attempts of the hausa-fulani.

The coming of independence and a promise of "One Nigeria" made Plateau State let down its guard, it became open to all, the immense beauty made it a tourist attraction for people from all over the world and a preferred retirement location for many Nigerians non indigenous to Plateau State.

This balance and peaceful coexistence was shattered when the hausa-fulani (who are muslim) without provocation and for no just cause attacked and tried to annihilate the peace-loving people who gave them shelter and opened their homes to them for years. Recently, what had once seemed like a problem domiciled in Plateau State spread to other parts of the country in the guise of "farmer-herder conflict".

The truth of the matter remains that there is an obvious conspiracy to continue the hausa-fulani expansion in Nigeria. This can very easily be seen in the body language of buhari who has never condemned these acts of violence or sympathised with victims, never visited the people of Plateau (nor has the vice president) to assure his neutrality but considers weddings and fire outbreaks more pressing issues that deserve his attendance.

I must emphasise that Plateau people (predominantly Christian) are peace-loving people who's only crime is blind trust and the desire to live in peace. They have never attacked anyone and currently seem to be at the verge of extinction from government sponsored terrorist.

PROPOSED SOLUTION

The international community must intervene, the deliberate attempt to exterminate the indigenous peoples of Plateau State must be stopped! A ban on open grazing that gives the fulani free access to Plateau communities must be put in place, all the security chiefs must be replaced and the current president must answer for all the crimes committed against the innocent people of Plateau State.

We beg for intervention and prayers

22 June 2018 Post Match reports

June 23, 2018 0

Brazil 2-0 Costa Rica

Borges should put Costa Rica ahead, but he places his effort wide of the post. Gamboa did brilliantly down the right to drive into the right inside channel after collecting Venegas’ offload. He cut the ball back for Borges to latch on to and strike at goal, only for the midfielder to curl his strike wide of the target.

Countinho fires home, Brazil have a 1-0 lead! Finally Brazil get the breakthrough as Coutinho stabs home from close range. Marcelo’s cross from the left was knocked down by Firmino. Jesus took a poor first touch, but it fell perfectly for the run of Coutinho, who fired his effort through the legs of Navas. Relief on the bench for Tite.

Neymar gets his GOAL! BRAZIL 2-0! Neymar secures the win for Brazil as he converts from close range. Douglas Costa’s run down the right proved to be too much for the tiring Costa Rica defence to handle. He put the ball on a plate for Neymar to tap home and he made no mistake from six yards. Game over. Countinho, Neymar on target as Brazil beat Costa Rica 2-0.

Nigeria 2-0 Iceland

Nigeria put themselves in a very good position of making it to the knockout stages of this year’s World Cup by beating a determined Iceland side 2-0 .The opening exchanges saw both teams measure each other out with none showing any real attacking intent. Nigeria were happy to keep most of the ball while Iceland were their usual compact and organised selves. Gylfi Sigurdsson produced a very good save from Francis Uzoho early on from a freekick. The first real chance of the game came shortly after the 20th minute. Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson turned his man with a nice turn before delivering a dangerous looking cross that needed the Nigeria goalkeeper Francis Uzoho to tip the ball behind for a corner. Half time found the two sides locked at 0-0.

Nigeria came out guns blazing in the second half and their efforts were rewarded ten minutes in. Chelseas wingback Victor Moses who was deployed on the right wing delivered a delicious looking ball for Ahmed Musa, the Leicester City forward beautifully controlled the ball before dispatching a low shot past the Iceland keeper to give the African team the lead. Victor Moses made space for shot in the 74th minute but was unlucky to see his effort come off the crossbar. The Africans were not to be denied a minute later though as Musa controlled a run onto a long ball before rounding the keeper and coolly dispatched his shot into an empty goal for Nigeria’s and his second too. Iceland had a golden chance to pull one back late on from the spot but Sigurdsson skied his effort from 12 yards. Nigeria held on to record a win which leaves them with all to play for in their final group game Against Argentina next week.

Serbia 1-2 Switzerland

Switzerland secured their first win of Russia 2018 World Cup after a hard fought 2-1 win against Serbia at Kaliningrad Stadium in a Group E fixture on Friday. Aleksandra Mitrovic opened scoring for Serbia but Granit Xhaka leveled for the Swiss with a fine strike from outside the box before Shaqiri’s late strike won it for Switzerland.

Serbia dominated passion early in the game even after their goal as the Swiss seem rattled. However, Switzerland slowly got back into proceedings and took control of match as the game progresses. They were few exciting moments in the first half as both sides seek to control the game mostly in the midfield with very little penetration into the final third.

The Swiss came to life in the second half and literally pinned the Serbians to their half of the field with wave after wave of attacks. The effort paid off when Xhaka hit a magnificent thunderbolt of a strike in midway in the second half before the ‘Swiss Messi’, Shakiri broke Serbian hearts with the winning goal late into stoppage time. The win takes Switzerland to second on the group table behind Brazil while Serbia falls to third place.

NYSC Camp: Things To Take To Camp

June 14, 2018 0

@haenytan: Clearance sales
(Last Updated On: April 24, 2018)

As soon as you have known your NYSC posting through your call up letter and you are heading over to NYSC Camp to heed the Clarion Call? There is a lot of important things you have to take along with you, on your way to NYSC orientation camp. We have compiled a list of essential things you need to take with you to camp aka “NYSC camp requirements” also Included are some life-saving TIPS!

As you prepare for the orientation camp which you have been deployed to, for the 2018 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course starting this month of April, 2018 here are the essentials! First off, the requirements. These are compulsory and you will not be allowed into any NYSC Camp if you don’t have them with you.

PART 1:
Official NYSC Camp Registration Requirements
CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of camp registration and it’s the only evidence that you are a prospective corps member (colloq. Corper, or Otondo) and you are not impersonating anyone. They will collect it from you and not return it, so don’t panic when this happens. You are not allowed to forget this under any circumstance, even if you forget your luggage never forget this.

Hack1: If you happen to choose the print online @ N3000 option then ensure the café has laser printers and not inkjet. Why? Because documents printed with inkjet are more susceptible to water/moisture damage. Just to be on a safer side because you never can tell what may happen on the road or in camp. You are advised to do this with any document you intend to keep for a very long time. If you can’t find a laser printer, then you can use anyone.

Hack2: NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, NEVER LAMINATE YOUR CALL UP LETTER! Can we emphasize its importance any better? Protect it like it’s your life cos it actually is, for the meantime. You will most likely be sent back if you forget yours. If you mistakenly laminate yours, really your fate is shaky, you may be sent back or pardoned after hours/days of begging. In order to avoid all these unnecessary stress, ensure that you make enough copies of this letter before heading to NYSC camp.

Hack3: Remember you can REPRINT your Call-Up letter online if selected the print online (N3,000) option. There will most probably be persons running cafes in Camp where you can print copies of your call-up. Their prices are very high and beyond reason so brace up. Also you can attached all your required documents (e-copies) to as drafts to your email, this will allow you print them whenever you need them in camp.

Green Card: It contains your bio-data. Print and bring along your signed copy.
Final Year Student IDENTITY CARD
Notification/STATEMENT OF RESULT from School
PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: Now make about 5 copies of every document required. There would be photocopiers in camp at mammy market but trust me, it is double the price and itsaves time.
PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important. Take as many as you can, about 20 in white backgrounds. You would need them for different kinds of registration. e.g, skill acquisition groups, religious groups, sports, redeployment, bank account opening e.t.c

Tip: The forms that will be handed to you are very easy to fill. Attach your passport where necessary and fill them correctly. After your registration, you will be issued with your State Code Number. This will be like your PIN throughout your Service Year.
PART 2:
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: For Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses & Lab Scientists, take along your proof of certification. Graduates of Medicine and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (NMDCN) and Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) respectively.
STATIONERY: PEN, PAPER, GUM.Yeah this saves time and lots of unnecessary begging.
My CLEAR BAG: You’ll need to put the aforementioned in a portable envelope/bag that can withstand some amount of wear/tear. Hence, My Clear Bag.

Tip: Some camps do seize staplers at the gate during check-in. But do not forget to include pins in your stapler if you still decide to take it along.

You will be given a meal ticket that gives you access to the Camp kitchen for the 21 days. Lose it and you have to feed yourself. Even if you do not intend to use it, you will come across someone who would appreciate the kind gesture.

Tip: After getting your NYSC State Code Number (which you have to wear around your neck all through camp with your ID card), you can proceed to claim your NYSC Kit and Mattress after which you can proceed to get a Room. After you have gotten your kit and secured a place in the hostels, you can settle down and you are good to go to start the Military parades.

Now, Your NYSC kit should contain 1 NYSC Crested Vest, A pair of Khaki Trousers, Cap and Jacket, 2 White T-shirts, 2 Pairs of Knickers, 2 pairs of green-stripped Stockings, A Pair of Orange Jungle Boots and One Pair of White Converse. A “Belt” is also included.

PART 3:
DAILY NEEDS – NYSC Camp Requirements:

11. ROUND-NECKED WHITE T-SHIRTS: This is an essential outfit in camp in fact in most camps this is the only allowed cloth to be worn throughout your 3 weeks. Even to church, you might not be allowed to wear colored cloths. You would be given 2 pairs of white t-shirts at camp to just fulfill all righteousness which surely would never be your size especially our very slim and small otondo in size . So you can bring extra pairs (6). Why? Because you probably wont have time to wash during the week after being stressed out from the parades and Man-O-War drills.

Tip: Do not carry more than 2 pairs of colored clothes because you wont need them.

12. WHITE SHORTS: I beg you please do bring yours. you would also be given 2 pairs of shorts which are really poor in material. They tear easily and it can be annoying. So my dear Otondos bring like 4 pairs of shorts. Trust me also you wont like to wash everyday, so bring enough to last you like 3 days so that you wont be stranded.

13. PLAIN WHITE SNEAKERS/TENNIS SHOES: This is a very important outfit. you would also be given an ugly pair of low quality white tennis shoes customized for NYSC. It’s either you are not given your size although you can find someone with your size and swap. But after the first wash it starts tearing. So just buy yours (white). They also sell this in camp, so in case you are not able to get you could buy in camp just carry extra cash for that because the price would be higher – as with everything in Mammy – because they know you have no choice than to buy. Now, If you happen to camp during the rainy season (Batch ‘B’ & ‘C’), get white rubber sneakers/boots especially if you’re posted to the Southern part of the country (esp. the South South. Read, Bayelsa). The parade fields/mammy market will be messed up after the rains. You will get this in camp.

Rubber boots in action. Kaiama Camp, Bayelsa. Batch ‘B’ 2017

14. WHITE SOCKS: Just get extra pairs.

15. PADLOCKS: [BRING or BUY from Mammy] Please lock your boxes and bags to avoid regrets and tears. I know someone who lost more than 5 items including his two phones – like he’s the only one in camp.

16. WAIST POUCH: /Fanny pack/Bum bag (or for the more fashion-conscious, a cross-body purse). The bum bags are more popular because they won’t bang against you when you’re active and your hands are free to do whatever. You need it to carry your money, phone, small valuables, pens, etc around with you at all times. You should sleep with it too.

17. MOSQUITO TREATED NET: You would do not want to fall sick in camp from malaria and miss out on the fun. Just bring yours. Also bring ropes you would use to hang it. The nets usually have these. I also used mine as a room to protect my box and properties from thieves and also from some insects and ants.

18. BASIC DRUGS: Like paracetamol, medicine for your allergies, menstrual pain relief drug, nausea relief drugs, antibiotics e.t.c. The camp clinic is sometimes inadequately stocked with drugs so help yourself. True story – A corper once donated at least a million Naira worth of medicine to the Lagos State NYSC camp clinic, and barely a few days later, they claimed to have run out of medicine.

19. ANTISEPTIC/DISINFECTANTS: Such as Dettol etc. This is very, very essential. Firstly the bathrooms can be very annoying and dirty and more importantly, you would not like to have infection from camp. Bad idea. Depending on your camp, the water can be dirty. Most people always have reaction to it.

20. DETERGENT: [BUY from Mammy.] Again, this reduces the amount of load you’re bringing into camp. However, if you’re lucky the mammy market will have vendors offering laundry services! It costs about N50 per item, N100 for your khaki trousers or jacket, extra N50 if you want your items pressed although cost will vary across camps.

Tip: The Bucket: Buy this in Mammy. Don’t stress yourself taking one to Camp, which you’re probably going to leave behind after 3 weeks.Toiletries: Toilet Paper, Sanitary Pad, soap dish etc. BUY in Mammy.

21. TOWELS

22. A PAIR OF SLIPPERS: [BRING or BUY]

23. Bed sheets, Pillow Cases and A Pillow. You could also get pillow from mammy market to reduce load.

Tip: Mattresses will be provided by NYSC. It is best to “double up” with the mattresses, as they are about 1 to 2 inches thick. Lol.

24. HANDKERCHIEF. There will be BUCKETS of sweating. Do yourself a favor.

25. FLASK, BOWL AND CUP: [BRING or BUY] For eating. Important for those who intend on eating Camp food.

Tip: You will be fed three times a day in camp but I must not lie to you, the food there is nothing to write home about. They can be nice on few occasions like Sundays, but most days, they are poor. If you are someone who loves to eat good food, make provisions for your own food. You should get some fast foods along, some breakfast cereals and beverages. You should also hold extra cash to eat at the Mammy market. You will get good meals there.

26. BEVERAGE: The camp will supply you with “Tea-water” or ‘brown-water’ so you can make tea when you need to!

27. FLASHLIGHT OR RECHARGEABLE LAMPS: [BRING] Most camps, do not give light except at a specific time of the day. It’s very essential especially at night when you need to use the bathroom, early in the morning when preparing for morning drills and meditations and at night in case you need to do anything. At the mammy market, there is always light till they close, usually 10pm except on days like the Camp Fire Night where they stay open till, say, 3am depending on how lenient your camp commander is. You can charge your lamps there for a little fee.

28. Some form of entertainment:Novels – for those who get bored easily, please take a few. And for guys, games on your phone would do or chess. Your music player and headphones for audiophiles.

29. Your Ray-Ban sunglasses for the sun. And if you can’t afford that, get a Ray-Bon.

30. Get extra phone batter(ies) and extra Network SIMs. Some networks are not available at some camps as they’re usually in remote locations, far from town centres. Once you get your call-up letter, you can find out (from serving corpers or tweet at me @_NYSC) which network has the best reception at your destination camp. If you need data access, find out if that available also. Instagrammers and YouTubers, if you get EDGE thank your stars. But there has been some improvement as network providers now know the volume of traffic NYSC camps generate.

31. CASH: Extremely important. You would need about N20,000 minus transport to and fro camp. Then between N30,000 – N40,000 to be ‘just’ comfortable. For those that can manage, say about N15,000. There are lots of things that take up money. Things like food (for those who don’t intend eating from the camp kitchen), energy drinks, recharge cards, charging of electronic devices, laundry, pleasures e.t.c.

32. ATM Card: You ‘normally’ wont be allowed to leave camp. So do not be stranded, trust me it’s not a good idea. Just budget N1,000 per day. You should take your ATM card along, in case. (This might sound counter-intuitive since there might not be any ATM in your camp and you are not allowed to leave camp. But figure it out…) You can keep your extra cash with the Accounts Department (as the case was in my camp) while some shops offer POS services, you still have access to extra cash whenever you need it.

If you have a camera you can take it along because you will want to snap a lot of scenes. If you have a Smartphone with great camera, that’s good for you because you can easily take and share photos on social networks instantly.

Tip: If you don’t have any of those, you will have to pay some guys on camp who do that as business to follow you around and snap you wherever you go. They might charge up to N2,000 for the duration of the camping. They should give you all your photos and videos in DVDs at the end of Camping. Or you could wait till the last day of leaving camp and snap at a cheaper rate.

That’s all you need to take to NYSC camp!. Waaaait. Where are you going? Now, don’t be selfish. You have to share this with your friends, don’t you? Click the share buttons below. Is there any item we left out of the list? Let us know.

Lagos declares June 12 public holiday

June 10, 2018 0

The Lagos State Government on Saturday declared June 12, 2018 as public holiday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the annulled 1993 Presidential elections believed to have been won by late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola.

The State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello said the significance of June 12, 1993 elections adjudged as the freest and fairest in the history of Nigeria, would always be a reference point in the State's quest to entrench true democracy in service to the people.

It would be recalled that the State since the return of democratic government in 1999 has continuously marked the day as a public holiday.

The State Government applauded the recent declaration of June 12 as the new Democracy Day by President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that the singular act would forever ensure that Chief MKO Abiola and other martyrs of democracy who laid down their lives in the struggle to entrench good governance did not do so vain.

"On behalf of all Lagosians, we want to commend and applaud Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari for deeming it fit finally against all odds from all other past presidents that 25 years after, we are able to now celebrate our own Democracy Day and also declare that the real winner of 1993 June 12 Presidential election was actually our own MKO Abiola.

"No matter how long you try to hide history, history will always reveal itself with a true platform. So, we know that is one very important singular step as we go forward to build an enduring democracy. And for all democrats in this country, we are excited that we are moving in the right direction.

"It also affirms that Nigeria can get it right if we begin to put things in the right perspective and work for the general good of the greater number of people. That is the true essence of democracy.

“For us in Lagos, June 12 is not just a day to remember, it is a rallying point for those of us in service that we must continuously strive to entrench true democracy and good governance which is what Chief MKO Abiola totally exemplified," the statement read.

Why Buhari cannot sieze my international passport, detain me - Obasanjo

June 10, 2018 0

A former President of Nigeria and the leader of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Olusegun Obasanho has stated why President Muhammdu Buhari cannot seize his international passport.

He said the President had plans to get him arrested and detain him just as a former military Head of State, General Sani Abacha did to him.

Obasanjo, however, said Buhari had failed to accomplish such plans because of the international community.

He further explained that the only option left for the president was to send the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, after him.

Obasanjo in a statement by his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, on Friday said the Buhari led administration would do this in order to stop him from expressing his angst on what he described as ‘pervasive mediocrity in the quality of governance.’

Obasanjo said, “The content of the alleged beastly designs, it was learnt are two-fold for now. One, to seize his International Passport and clamp him into detention indefinitely, in order to prevent him from further expressing angst on the pervasive mediocrity in the quality of governance, economic management and in the protection of lives and property by the Government.

“But, since that could expose the Government to a swath of international condemnation, embarrassment and outrage, it is said that another plot being hatched is to cause the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to re-open investigation into the activities of Chief Obasanjo’s administration using false witnesses and documents. This will be a re-enactment of the Abacha era in which Chief Obasanjo was one of the principal victims’.

“The same EFCC that had conducted a clinical investigation on the activities of Obasanjo in and out of Government, it was said, would now be made to stand down the existing report that gave Chief Obasanjo a clean bill of health on the probes are now to get him indicted, fair or foul for possible prosecution and persecution like it is being done to real and perceived opponents, enemies and critics of this Government.”

June 12: Buhari is fearless, progressive - Emerhor

June 09, 2018 0

Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor has commended President Muhammadu Buhari's sense of fairness, justice and courage in addressing the June 12, 1993, presidential election debacle.

According to the APC chieftain, the issue of honouring Chief MKO Abiola, his running mate, Alhaji Babagana Kingibe and other unsung heroes of democracy had been long overdue, adding that the recognition of June 12 as the true Democracy day is most apt.

In a statement signed by Emerhor and made available to journalists, he said; "President Buhari has by this singular act established himself as a fearless progressive, a true democrat and a man with a true sense of history and justice.

He added that, "President Buhari has brought to an end an era where previous presidents bury their head like the ostrich in the sands of arrogance and political denial of the significance of the events of June 12.

"Buhari didn't just honour the Abiolas, the Kingibes, the Ganis and those heroes that died in the streets of Nigeria, but he has indeed reestablished Nigeria as a nation that can be a beacon of hope and justice to all," Emerhor stated.

The APC chieftain stressed that coming in the heel of the Buhari's led government unassailable war on corruption, his giant strides in infrastructural development and his tenacity in pulling the economy out of recession, the President has distinguished himself as a President of the people.

"it is for these reasons that Deltans and Nigerians will certainly re-elect him for a second term in 2019", Olorogun Emerhor, the 2015 Delta APC governorship candidate added.

Labour Hails PMB on declaration of june 12 as democracy day

June 09, 2018 0

Organized Labour has saluted what it called “the courage and sensitivity” of President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring democratic consolidation by posthumously honouring Chief MKO Abiola, acclaimed winner of June 12 1993 Presidential election long demanded for by democratic forces for the past two decades.

In a statement in Kaduna, Comrade Issa Aremu, NEC Member of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and General Secretary of the Textile Workers Union, said by the singular act of conferment of the highest national honour, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on Chief MKO Abiola, President Buhari had commendably rekindled faith in sustainability of democracy in Africa’s largest democracy adding that the President “gave the correct signal that never again would any group of people violate the mandate of Nigerian people through mandate annulment” .

President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday directed that henceforth Democracy Day will be marked every year on June 12, rather than May 29 which had been observed as Democracy Day since 1999 when the current democratic dispensation began. The shift is in honour of Late Chief MKO Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the June 12 Presidential election.

He said, "The June 12 presidential election, described as the freest and fairest election in Nigeria’s history, was annulled by former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida. Though the results of the election were not fully announced before it was annulled, Abiola was believed to have won the election based on collations from all the states.

"Abiola later died in government detention in pursuit of his mandate. A statement personally signed by President Buhari said Abiola would also be conferred with the highest national honour, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic. The honour reserved for President, would be conferred on the late politician posthumously on June 12, which is the 25th anniversary of the election. Also to be honoured are Abiola’s running mate, Alhaji Babagana Kingibe, and late human rights activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN. Both would receive the second highest national honour, Grand Commander of the Niger (GCON) – which is reserved for Vice President. "Nigeria's Integrity Restored" - Aremu

Aremu said President Buhari had brought integrity to governance by “shunning the hypocrisy and shameless denials” of past leaders of Nigeria that June 12th was truly a watershed in the struggle for democracy in Nigeria. He said Labour agrees with the administration that “June 12, 1993 was far more symbolic of democracy in the Nigerian context than May 29 as it was “June 12, 1993 that Nigerians in millions expressed their democratic will in what was undisputedly the freest, fairest and most peaceful elections since our Independence”.

Comrade Aremu recalled that in 2015 organized Labour had urged President Muhammadu Buhari to offer leadership and build a groundswell of national consensus to posthumously accord acceptable deserved national and global Honour to the winner of the June 12th 1993 presidential election, Chief Moshood Abiola and hundreds of other victims of that era of military impunity.

The labour leader said by the singular courageous act, President Buhari is putting into closure what he called “June 12 saga”.

He said “June 12 spectre” had “repeatedly hunted Nigeria’s democratic process, the president has now “exorcised the specter”. Comrade Aremu observed that given the free and fair election that led to the emergence President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, he was best positioned to rightly “name, shame and damn the criminal annulment of the 1993 presidential election results adjudged to be the most free and fair”.

According to him, the distortion and corruption of Nigeria’s democratic aspiration started with the singular annulment of 1993 June 12 free and fair elections. “Since the shameful events of 1993, election riggers had perfected the art of violations of peoples’ mandates through varying subterfuges that included ballot snatching, alteration of electoral rules, falsifications of election results as we witnessed in particular in 2003 and 2007 elections” he observed .

He said the honor for Abiola and others is honor for the nation adding that by dignifying the victims of June 12, Nigeria has invariably damned those behind the decades of impunity in Nigeria.

Buhari signs bill restricting VP who completes president's tenure to one term

President Muhammmadu Buhari on Friday signed a bill to ensure that where a vice president succeeds a president and where a deputy governor succeeds a governor, he or she can no more contest for that office more than once.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang, who disclosed this to State House correspondents, said: "And the fact is that having taken the oath as President once, and you can only contest for once again and no more. That is the intent of this amendment."

He said Buhari also signed a bill that gives the Independent National Electoral Commission sufficient time to conduct bye-elections, saying "It has increased the number from 7 days to 21 days and generally widened the latitude of the Independent National Electoral Commission to handle election matters upon vacancy occuring."

Enang said Buhari also signed the Constitution Fourth Alteration Bill which grants financial authonomy and independence to State Houses of Assembly and State Judiciary.

"Therefore upon this signature, the amounts standing to the credit of the judiciary are to now be paid directly to the judiciary of those states, no more through the governors and no more from the governors and then the amounts standing to the credit of the Houses of Assembly of the respective states are now to be paid directly to the House of Assembly of that state for the benefit of the legislators and the management of the States Houses of Assembly.

"This grants full autonomy now to the judiciary at the state level and the Houses of Assembly at the state level," the presidential aide stated.

He said the president also signed a bill relating to the determination of pre-election matters, reducing the date and time of determining pre-election matters to ensure that those matters in court do not get into the time of the elections and do not become pending.

"Thereafter, the relevant sections of the constitution had also been amended by this act, therefore amending the constitution," he added.

I’m not involved in Ekiti shooting – Akeredolu

I’m not involved in Ekiti shooting – Akeredolu
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has denied the allegation of being behind the shooting which occurred during Friday’s rally for the Ekiti All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi. This is contained in a statement issued in Akure on Saturday by Mr Segun Ajiboye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor. The statement said the attention of the governor was drawn to a “ malicious’’ report by the campaign organisation of the governorship candidate of the PDP in Ekiti which alleged that Akeredolu was behind the shooting. It also said: “The statement, signed by one Lere Olayinka on behalf of the Olusola Eleka Campaign Organisation alleged that the thug that fired the shot that injured about four persons in the rally, including an APC chieftain, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele, was brought to Ekiti State by Governor Akeredolu. “We wish to categorically state that though there was shooting in Ado-Ekiti by a thug today, Governor Akeredolu knew nothing about the identity of the suspect. “ It is nothing but a wicked lie from the pit of hell. ” Governor Akeredolu was in Ekiti State to show support for the APC and its candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi and none of the governor’s security detail fired a single shot throughout the rally in Ekiti.’’ The statement further said that “the Ekiti State Police PPRO, Caleb Ikechukwu, has disclosed that the policeman who handled the rifle was hired from Lagos. We hope this will put to rest the dangerous allegation. “You will recall that the same Lere Olayinka had a few days ago alleged that Governor Akeredolu had promised to spend the state’s two months allocation on the Ekiti election. “It is, therefore, pertinent to state here that at no gathering did Governor Akeredolu make a remark that he was ready to put two months allocations of Ondo state together to pursue Dr Fayemi’s governorship election in Ekiti State. ” Once again, we condemn the incident that occurred in Ado Ekiti today and sympathise with the victims and their family. We also sympathise with the APC family in Ekiti and the nation in general. ” Governor Akeredolu is a man of peace who is known to have devoted unrelenting efforts at sustaining peace in his state. We are, however, relieved with the news of the arrest of the perpetrator by the police.’’

Choosing a Good Project/Reseach Topic

January 26, 2018 0
Students in Nigerian universities these days wish to choose a very simple project topic/material. There is no issue choosing a simple project topic; the only problem is your ability to choose a good project or research topic that your supervisor will easily approve for you.
Most project supervisors really want to see how good his or her project student understands his or her surrounding through the kind of topic he or she chooses for their project work.
There are some project topic that are not reject able; for instance in Nigeria of today; what do you think is the major issue on ground now?
If a project student can choose or craft a topic on the effect of dollar increment on the economy of Nigeria. Such project topic will be very interesting to write on.

Now what are the qualities of a good project topic?
1. The materials for the project topic must be easily assessable.
2. The project topic itself must be meaningful.
3. The variables must be able to give a clear aim of the project topic.

What do I mean by variable?
Well I am deriving my point from the area of project writing; the variables here are those main words in the project topic.
Like the above project topic; the effect of dollar increment on the economy of Nigeria. You can see the main variables that really define this project topic are: dollar, increment and economy.
Before you present your topic to your project supervisor, first of all understand your project topic, and then secondly try to do some research for your topic to see if at least you can get up to 60% of what you need to write the complete project.
I said that above because you might have a very nice topic that the materials are not available online and there are no books as regard the topic; in this case the project topic becomes difficult for you even though the topic is catchy.

What do I mean by your topic being assessable?
Well what I mean is very simple and easy to understand. Simply pick your project topic, type it on google and see if you will have at least a good background for the topic you are writing on.
If you can have a good background for your project topic and you can understand the problem associated with the project topic, then I believe the aim of the project is not farfetched.

Does "LOL" Really mean 'Lucifer Our Lord"?

January 26, 2018 0
Does "LOL" Really mean 'Lucifer Our Lord'?

When we "laugh out loud" online, are we really praying to Satan, the prince of darkness himself?
The answer is no, but an image posted by a user on the social news site Reddit is warning the Internet otherwise.
According to the directive, which is meant to be shared "with Christians," the classic and ubiquitous "LOL" acronym stands for "Lucifer our lord," something the image's creator doesn't find funny at all.
"BEWARE: Stop using the abbreviation 'LOL,'" the hastily made image that invokes the same qualities as a Westboro Baptist Church sign reads. "'LOL stands for 'Lucifer our Lord.' Satanists end their prayers by saying Lucifer our Lord,' in short, "LOL.' Every time you type 'LOL' you are endorsing Satan."
If  the warning, posted by Redditor DkryptX, in the "atheism" subreddit, were true, there would be a lot of Satanists on Twitter.
"I met the prime minister in overalls lol," pop star Justin Bieber  tweeted from Instagram  in one such example. Columnist Roland Martin also has a habit of ending his tweets with "LOL."
"Can someone please tell him that YOLO means 'Youth Obeying Lucifer's Orders?"" joked another Reddit user. Fans of the rapper Drake might disagree. The former star of the TV series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" popularized the "you only live once" acronym recently.

Sex Prophets

September 22, 2017 0
SEX PROPHETS

The time is 3am and I cannot sleep.  I have been tossing and turning, and my heart is bleeding. I am feeling great pain and sorrow.., deep in my soul.    Let me get straight to the point.  Unbeknown to many of the  “prophets” I get A LOT of messages from A LOT of their women victims.  They all say, “Pastor Phaladi, look, this is what this man did to me, please,he did the same things to my friends and many girls in church.., please expose him”, and another one and hundreds more.  My answer to these ladies  is always the same.

No matter how much a man might have wronged you, there is no way I can talk to him publicly without having met with him with one or two elders in private and asked him why he is bringing the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ into disrepute.  If you feel that what he did to you has some criminal intent, then please open a police case and let the Law sort it out.
Now this is what I want to speak about.  A few brothers asked me privately, some were in the “prophetic” ministries.  So they asked me.  Pastor, How come each time we fornicated, how come did our prophecies become clearer? We could see more visions, it seems our “anointing” increased.
What these men are saying I know that very very well.  You see, there is something EXTREMELY spiritual about sex.  That is why Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

Sex is one act, where a person opens up his/her spirit.   I was praying  for one sister a couple of months back who is studying at varsity.  Her 1st year grades were high, and second year only for half a year.  Then all of a sudden, its like someone took her brains, she started to fail and fail and never completed her degree, much to the surprise of everybody.  So as I was praying for her, I started to speak with this “male voice”, told me his name, that he took her intelligence, he was failing but she was bright, so he “dated” her just to have sex with her, then took her mind  away.  Well, lets just say after prayer, her “right” mind  was restored, but let us go slowly through what happened, you see what looked  like an “innocent” act of lovemaking, was actually a highly organized spiritual event to take away the intelligence of an unsuspecting girl who was “in love”.

Let me say this, if you have been wondering why these prophets are having sex with almost the whole church, they will have sex with even with blood sisters from the same house, sometimes they will have sex with mothers and daughters, it is not because of the “weakness” which is inherent in all men.  Look, every single red blooded human being can fall every single day, to err is very human.  Even with the most “careful” of Christians there are many things in their lives that they are not proud of.

I have preached about the message, “YOUR BODY DOES NOT UNDERSTAND GRACE”, I showed on that message that just because you fell into sin, or have serious short comings, etc, does not mean you are not saved. It only means you failed to safe guard  that temptation that sneaked up on you.   But with these prophets this is NOT what is happening.  They are not living immorally because of “Human weaknesses”.

No!! They do this DELIBERATELY!  You see the spirit that makes them tell you the name of your neighbor is not the spirit of God.  This spirit needs to be recharged all the time . hmmm..Lord how can I explain this thing nicely to your people in a manner they will understand??   Ok, thank you Lord for this example.

You remember in the Bible there is a story of the Woman who had a blood issue.  She said in her heart if she can only touch the hem of garment of Jesus she would be whole.  When that woman finally touched Jesus, the Lord turned and said “who touched me”.  He then went to say.. for I perceive “Virtue has gone out of me”.

Now virtue means strength.  Our very own Lord Jesus Christ, was touched by a woman, and strength left him.  Now Jesus Christ, because strength had left him,  had to go and “recharge”.  So normally he would go and spend time with the Father, praying, to “recharge” His spirit.  The same things happens all the time with me, when I minister, and pray for the sick, and cast out devils ect, I feel that something leaves me. I become weak.  Not just physically, in fact more spiritually so, then I can feel that I need to recharge. I need to spend time alone, and just be with God.   Sometimes many of you call, and I do not pick up the phone , like many that called yesterday on Monday, I could not pick up the call because I had not slept properly in 3 days, and I drove 400 kms Sunday morning to preach a sermon here in Midrand, so the whole Monday, I was just in the presence of the Lord.  Just like the batteries need to be recharged, I was also  recharging.

So, now lets go back to why these prophets sleep with soooooo  many women.  Remember, the spirit that makes them do all these prophecies and “miracles” is NOT from the Lord.  Many of them got this “gift” from their spiritual father.  So after they have prophesied the whole day, the same thing happens to them.  Strength leaves these spirits.  These spirits then needs to be recharged.  Now because they cannot go and get “strength” form the Lord, because the Lord does not “recharge” evil spirits, they then have to find a way to fill up their “prophetic strength”, which is sex.

Now to all women that have sex with these prophets, let me tell you something quickly.  That was not “sex” that you had with that man.  That is why the next day you feel like you are worthless, many of you want to commit suicide, sometimes you are confused for days and you don’t even want to go to work.. ,many of you drop out from schools, varsity, many of you become alcoholics, satanits.. it was not sex my dear.  That man was using you as a Cell Phone charger.  You were charging his evil spirit.  So he took from  your spirit all the vitamins, proteins, ect, to recharge the evil spirits.   Now that he is recharged,  see him on Sunday how he will be moving in the “prophetic”,  performing great signs and wonders, you will watch him getting “forensic”, pin point accuracy, why, because he took from you.

Now that he has taken from you, he needs to find another source!!  Then another source!  Then another source!! He cant help it, he cant stop it.  The day he stops having sex with everyone that is the day he will stop prophesying!  So sad!!  And you my precious sisters, when the prophet approaches you, you think you are so lucky, you think you are the chosen one.!  Why do you think a “prophet” put 90 women in one house and was having sex with all of them?   Do you think he was having “sex” , or can you clearly see that those women were there to “recharge” him?

He will tell you in the realm of the spirit he saw you in a wedding gown, and there you smile smile with him!! One “prophet” told me in confidence.  He was telling me that he can actually “see” HIV on a woman.  So before he sleeps with any woman, he starts ‘delivering” them first, he then ‘casts away” the HIV spirit, then he sleeps with the woman, when he is done, he commands that spirit to come back into the woman.  Women, why are you still hanging around these hyenas in shiny suits??  Of course they are handsome.  The devil does not use ugly men.  He hand picks his prophets well.  They are good looking, they dress well, they smell nicely, but that is on the outside.  They are exactly what Jesus said of the Pharisees, he said they are like tomb stones, on the outside they look nice but inside they are full of dead man’s bones.  Listen to me, if  it was possible to get MORE EVIL than a false prophet, Jesus would have said so.

Let me be clear and frank!! These people need to find a way to recharge their spirits.  If not through sex, then they will have to sacrifice souls,  people will die mysteriously in their church, sometimes it will look like a “freak” accident, but the prophet knows, he needed to “recharge”.

Some of the sex prophets are committing such evil acts that their spirits are no longer human.  That is why when you see most of them in dreams, you will dream that they change into into animals.., that’s who they are, the Bible calls them “brute beasts”!!!.

If you are one of those women who “recharged” a false prophet, and you know since that time something left you, please seek help.  Don’t find another false prophet to help you, he will only take whatever remains that was not taken by the first.  Find a genuine man of God.  God has his true servants everywhere.  Let them pray with you, let them lead you back to the Lord.   Lord When are people going to realize the lateness of the hour??., My spirit is sooo sad!! I am soo sad!!

Oh what is happening to the church of the living God!!  I really cant help sobbing now!!  What would genuine men of God that died in this country preaching the gospel, what would they say when we tell them the church has been infiltrated with sex prophets???  What would a man like Nicholas Bhengu say?? When we tell him our girls are now being  used  to recharge prophets???  Oh Lord!!! Im sorry!! I can’t stop crying!!
I know these prophets say a lot of things about Daniel Phaladi, they say all sorts of things.  That I judge them, I  condemn them, that is soo not true! Anyone that knows me, will know that condemnation is something faaaar from me!! I love God’s people.  I believe the gospel of Grace!!  I know that  God’s people have all sorts of weaknesses, some are fighting off all manner of addictions, and Jesus loves them so much.., but here we are not talking about a “human weakness”, we are talking about something completely different!!!   We are talking about the devil, using God’s daughters as “prophet chargers” so his good looking handsome false prophets can deceive the world!!! Flee, flee from sex prophets!!

And you men that have been offered money by some of these prophets to sleep with your wives and you agreed,  to me you are not different from Esau, who sold his birthright for a morsel of bread!!  A real man will NEVER put a price on his wife, no matter how much your struggle!!

John Wesley must be turning in his grave. Hearing  that men are being offered money so their wives can recharge end-time sex prophets.

Heavenly Father, I come to you now in a moment of distress and inward pain.   when You called me to free Your children from spiritual deception and bondage, I never anticipated all this oh Lord.  Sometimes all these things that come to me, are too much to bear, but I pray for your Grace dear Lord.  May I run this race with patience.   I know that when I am weak, then you are strong..,.  Help me to cope Lord with this campaign dear Father,  Sometimes if my spirit is broken like this, what more your spirit Lord.  Seeing your daughters you died for, your paid the highest price for, being used to recharge fallen men.., men  who chose popularity and money over the souls of your people, men who chose to be regarded highly by the society by mocking the old rugged cross, dripping with shame and blood..,  Help your church I pray.  Help us dear Lord.  I pray with a bleeding heart, trusting that this little message will help many of your daughters trapped by an evil anti-Christ system masquerading as the genuine.

The hour is late oh Lord, we see earthquakes in places where no earthquakes were recorded, we see hurricanes and weather upheavals in a scale never seen before.  We see that nature is groaning, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.  We hear of wars and rumours of war,   Manifest your sons oh Lord, and send them to the world...., grant  them the boldness to speak out Lord!!  To manifest the risen Christ to all mankind.  I am homesick oh Lord, I  miss home so much, this world has become a strange place to your people, Yet we shall endure till the end,  and carry the sword and the banner of the word, till we hear you say, “Come Home my children”.   In Jesus Name I pray.., Amen!

Pastor Daniel Phaladi
